Books and movies are so different. I love both, but tend to read nonfiction (books) and indulge in fiction (movies). I also enjoy documentaries. I’ll admit to reading a trash mag now and again 😉
whod you think you are? read just known authors.

I never me a person with such definite preferences. I have much broader tastes in music, films and authors and.. always think that life is so short to discover all the beautiful things than have been made by humankind
It is difficult when people ask me: what is your favorite film? Music? Book? I simply have no favorites. There are so many artistic and literary expressions I love. Also, my tastes are subject to personal moods and life stages. When I need relaxation I prefer classical-romantic music like Mozart’s piano concerto no 21 (appears in movie Elvira Madigan), Tchaikovsky’s violin and piano concerts, Rachmaninoff’s piano concerto no 2, etc… Or I listen to Ludovico Einaudi, Philip Glass, Enya… But I like all sorts of music as long as they are good: jazz, rock, pop (The Beatles and who comes after them), world folk music, etc.
Films? So many. The last one I have seen is Bohemian Rapsody. Loved it!
Books? So many. Novels, Poetry, Philosophy… Love Jonathan Franzen’s novel Purity. Love T.S.Eliot’s poems, Sylvia Plath’s, etc… Shakespeare’s theater plays, his sonnets, Dante’s Divine Comedy, Dostoievsky, Kafka, etc…
If you like German philosophy you must have read a lot of Nietsche, Kant, Heidegger… Hast du die Bücher auf Deutsch gelesen?
Häufig lese ich deutsche Texte.
TL;DR.
